ART CLUB
Artists' club provides students with the opportunity to improve their
skills in the areas of drawing, painting, and sculpture. Both individual
and group projects help create an atmosphere in which students can take
charge of their own learning together. Students are encouraged to try
new things and experiment with many materials that they may not
otherwise have the opportunity to learn about. Club is a mini artists'
community where students with similar interests can gather and enjoy
learning in the area of visual arts.

COUNCIL

Student Council consists of seventh and eighth grade students who
are looking to make a difference both in and outside of the TMS
school community. We host four dances during the year for seventh
and eighth graders, and the majority of all money earned goes
towards different charities of the council members' choice. One
example of this is our participation in the We are the Children
program, a Christmas event run by Gary Craig and 96.5TIC FM. In
addition to running dances, students run mini-events like the
Friendship Flowers for Valentine's Day. This year, we will focus on
community as we work against bullying in the school setting. We meet
