TMS CLUBS

ART CLUB

Artists' club provides students with the opportunity to improve their skills in the areas of drawing, painting, and sculpture. Both individual and group projects help create an atmosphere in which students can take charge of their own learning together. Students are encouraged to try new things and experiment with many materials that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn about. Club is a mini artists' community where students with similar interests can gather and enjoy learning in the area of visual arts.

STUDENT COUNCIL
Student Council consists of students who are looking to make a difference in the TMS school community as well as areas outside of our school.  Students host four dances during the year for seventh and eighth graders, and the majority of the money earned goes towards different charities of the council members' choice.  One example of this is our participation in the We are the Children program, a Christmas event run by Gary Craig and 96.5TIC FM.  In addition to helping charities, students run mini-events like the Friendship Flowers for Valentine's Day, and beautifying our school community by helping to clean the courtyards and areas around the school.  We meet on Mondays during the school year from 2:30 to 3:10.
